Hello everybody!
This last month has been a complete whirl wind and it’s been a hot second since I’ve posted anything, so I thought I’d share with you what I’ve been up to.
Exams
Exam season is super stressful for anyone and I personally find it really puts your relationship to the test, especially when you’re practically living together! The two girls I lived with in my third year of Uni both went home to study as they generally find they are more productive there. I am the complete opposite. I get a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out!) and, if I’m honest, I know I am far more productive when I’m at Uni. Sooo that left me living on my own in my flat, which meant I was spending a lot of time with Jack and his housemates, who also happen to be my friends.
Jack and I are used to seeing a lot of each other and we can work in each others company effectively, buuuuuut we both work differently. I am a 9 to 5 kinda gal and he’s a work til I drop kinda guy. So when my exams finished before Jack’s (as I’m third year and he is second) I went home, which meant that by the time Berlin came around we had been through months of revision and then a good few weeks apart.
AKA, perfect timing.
We did Berlin on a student budget and it was really great (and I’ll do another post on that ASAP!)
Here are a few pictures from our Berlin trip!
I also had a leg operation, but all that meant was watching Love Island and Friends on loop!
I went to Grad Ball!
This was SO much fun. The night was full of prosecco, blister plasters and a whole lot of dancing.
I got a 2.1 and a a JOB!
Another HUGE milestone that came with a lot of nerves, mini break downs and excitement.
Once I finished Uni I got really panicky that I didn’t have a job lined up, so went a little overboard on the applications. I applied to over 30 different positions, signed myself up to several different agencies (who I now get huuundreds of emails from and should remember to cancel the email alerts because frankly there is far too many!) and phone interviews became my life.
Long story short, I am now a Marketing Executive for a cosmetics company and I got my 2.1. So I am a happy bunny.
I hope you are enjoying this mini heatwave we’ve been having!
Bee xoxo
